Lotus-Eater
Relaxed and almost swaying, this figure with its bleary expression is named for the "Lotus-Eaters" - an island people encountered by Odysseus in his journey home. After being blown off course, the hero and his men ventured onto the island only to find its inhabitants dazed and drunken with the beauty of the mysterious lotus. The crew that ate the flower forgot all their longings for home and cared only for reveling in the lotus' dream-like grasp.
